Austrains products postage costs are $10 per item, plus $6 for each item after that.
All Austrains products cannot be put on laybys or preorders at Tom's Hobbies. All transactions of their products will be separate from our store.

Trainorama S Class

The Trainorama S Class are in store and available for purchase.
Versions already sold out include: S303 in Freight Australia, S300 in VR Blue and Gold , S301 in VR Blue and Gold, S306 in VR Blue and Gold, S309 in V/Line, S310 in V/Line and S317 in VR Blue and Gold.
The price of the S Class remains at $265.00 per loco. A limited number of weathered S class locos are available, priced at $290.00 each (check with the shop for availability before ordering).

Trainorama 32 Class

The popular NSWGR 32 class model is still in stock but there aren't many left! All are priced at $585.00 each.
An updated additional instructions sheet now comes with every new 32 class locomotive. This instruction sheet can be downloaded on our website under the 32 Class page.
The only spare parts available for the 32 class is the cab driver and fireman, available together for $4.00. These figures will suit any NSWGR steam loco.
This multi-purpose passenger/freight steam locomotive goes perfectly on any NSW based layout, as they travelled from Albury in the South, to Glen Innes, Wallangarra and Brisbane in the North, as well as traversing many NSW Western division branch lines. Don’t leave it too late to place your order!

Trainorama 44 Class

Stocks of the 44 class are declining. The limited run of the new 44 class (4461 Red and Cream, 4497 IRA Silver, 4458 Blue and Yellow, and 4480 and 4483 Freightrail Blue) is getting low on what’s left.
4401 in Preserved Tuscan, 4483 in SSR and 44100 in Candy are all sold out with numerous other numbers almost gone too.
Currently, 4458 in Blue and Yellow, 4461 in Red and Cream, 4488 in NCR Purple, 4497 in IRA Silver, and Unnumbered 44s in Tuscan are all on special at $195.00 per unit. The rest of the run remain priced at $245.00 each. Place your order in today!
Trainorama 930 Class

All 930/930SE locomotive stocks have nearly sold out, similar to its Alco counterparts. Limited stocks remain of the double ended version, while very few are left of the limited run of 930 Single Ended versions, with 930 and 935 in SAR colours, 931 in ANR colours and 934 in AN colours all sold out! Again, do not delay! These are priced at $255.00 each. No future rerun is envisaged for both types.

Trainorama 47 Class

Only 4701 in Candy, 4712 in Candy, 4720 in Tuscan, and 4714 in Candy are left in the 47 class range. Each 47 is customised to each particular number, to the point where even the black paint around the cab windows is different! Staff exchanger variations are also covered. The four roof hatches on the model can be opened to represent the prototype, which frequently had them open to prevent overheating – a troublesome feature of the class. The prototype still runs around NSW today. These premier world class models are still very attractively priced at $245.00 each while they last.
Trainorama 49 Class

The 49 class diesel-electric locomotive is available now! Four running numbers (4901, 4903, 4908, 4912) are available in the series 1 wide valance version and three numbers (4914, 4915, 4917) are available in the series 2 narrow valance version. Some numbers are nearing sell-out, so don't miss out on the opportunity to obtain one now!
4901 in Green and Yellow, 4901 in Tuscan, 4910 in Tuscan and 4918 in Candy have sold out.
Trainorama Wagons
The re-runs of the FWH, BWH wheat hopper are available now, with stocks almost sold out! Limited stocks remain of the BWH and FWH.
BCH & FCH packs have all sold out!
The pack consisting of 1 BWH and 3 RU wagons having completely sold out, and all BCH wagon packs have sold out too!.
The rest of these wagon packs are available in packs of 4 at price $145.00 for the BWH and FWH.
The re-runs of the OHG-GHG Brake Vans and Louvre Vans have completely SOLD OUT, as well as the RU wheat wagons.
UL and S trucks have sold out.

COMING SOON FROM TRAINORAMA

The GM is currently progressing slowly, due to the number of variations to cover and enduring problems at the factory. The current preorder price is locked in at $265.00 each. This will remain the price until they arrive on shore, when the final price will be determined. These locomotives will come. Due to an original misinterpretation, some numbers may have to be revised on the GMs, and we will announce these revisions later this year if they occur.
Trainorama PHG/MHG Brake Vans (updated 27 Aug 2010)
Tooling and design work is complete on the models. The first samples are available for viewing at the shop. They will be as good as, or even better, than the ZLP/VVBP vans. These coveted vans will be sold in packs of two like the ZLP/VVBP vans. Colour charts have been forwarded to the factory and we are currently awaiting the colour samples to arrive (expected sometime in September).
Our PHG/MHG Brake Vans will have a quality injection moulded plastic body, with many separately applied detail parts. They will feature the correct bogies with metal wheels to the RP25/110 profile, and will also have full underfloor detailing and metal knuckle couplers. With fine and intricate paintwork, these will be much better than all previous plastic and resin examples. All will have proper packaging and warranty.
The final price is yet to be determined. No orders will be taken until they are ready for shipping. Estimated arrival around March 2011.

First samples of these much anticipated models are currently available for viewing at the Trainorama Headquarters at West Ryde. The project is unfortunately behind schedule, as ongoing delays at the factory have hindered efforts in regards to the tooling for the model. Tooling is now 99% finished, and we will soon be preparing colour charts for the factory.
